First Emirati PhD in Artificial Intelligence
Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Alloghani brings 19 years of practical experience across the UAE's vital sectors: Prime Minister's Office, AI Ministry, oil & gas (ADNOC), federal prosecution, agriculture & food safety, and healthcare.
He earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Liverpool John Moores University in 2019, becoming the first Emirati to achieve this distinction. His career reflects a commitment to translating AI research into real-world solutions and ethical frameworks.
At ADNOC, he managed AI projects and commercial solutions, pioneering the first AI-based application for the oil & gas sector. At SEHA, he led development of the mobile app now used nationwide to deliver essential healthcare services.
Internationally, Dr. Alloghani represented the UAE at UNESCO and G20 forums, contributing to the first global standard on AI ethics. He has published 62 peer-reviewed papers and authored 3 specialized books.
