Dr. Alloghani was delegated by the UAE Minister of State for AI and appointed by UNESCO’s Director-General to represent the UAE in the Ad Hoc Expert Group (AHEG) in March 2020. As one of 24 global specialists, he contributed to drafting the world’s first global recommendation on AI ethics — covering human rights, fairness, transparency, accountability, sustainability, and human oversight.

As advisor to the UAE Minister of State for AI, Digital Economy & Remote Work, Dr. Alloghani contributed directly to the co-development and strategic review of the UAE National AI Strategy 2031 — the country’s flagship roadmap guiding governance, capability building, sector transformation, and global positioning in artificial intelligence.
